I have over 20 years experience in marketing, advertising and media production. I've helped develop marketing plans, ad campaigns, and produced trade show videos, print ads, and broadcast ads. I've worked for an ad agency and managed an in-house marketing department.
My production skills include photography, writing, graphic design, videography and video production.
My work has been published in 6 countries as well as local media (see "Experience").

Marketing and Management
I managed a creative team for an ad agency, taught marketing classes, and made project presentations to clients. As media manager for an in-house marketing department, I planned advertising strategies, selected the best publications to reach our target market, placed/monitored ads, and developed good relations with the media.

Photography, Writing and Graphic Design
Photography experience includes architectural, industrial, product and people photography. I am especially good at capturing people at their work in a natural way without making them looked posed. Writing experience includes ad copy, news releases, book reviews, brochures, web copy, and other promotional copy. I have produced print ads, created product sheets, designed websites, written radio ads, and produced tradeshow videos. I wrote articles on marketing for the Bellingham Business Journal and book reviews for Blogger News Network. Graphic Design experience includes websites, advertising, and all types of printed materials.

Bachelor of Science in Communications. This included studies in Marketing, Commercial Printing, Broadcast production, Photography, Writing, Graphic Design, and Public Speaking.

I also studied one summer with Ruth Bernhard who showed me more about light in a few weeks than I'd learned in four years of college. She was the last of the f64 group of artists, which also included Edward Weston, Imogen Cunningham, Ansel Adams, and others. She passed away December 18, 2006 after 101 years of life. We're a little less for her loss and a little more for her legacy.
